My AI Agents Created An Online Course End-to-End (And I Approved Every Step)
Creating "Leading AI-Ready Teams with a HUMAN Agentic AI Edge" by Combining AI Scale and Human Judgment
Since launching my second book, The HUMAN Agentic AI Edge, earlier this year, leaders have been sharing a common challenge with me. They are being asked to drive AI adoption across their teams and organizations, and they are struggling with the complexity surrounding it. Whether it is their team members’ fears and concerns about job loss (or their own!), being flooded with low-quality results (AI slop), or the unknown unknowns of what AI can do, there are plenty of reasons that stall AI initiatives and that diminish the tangible business value organizations could achieve.
But what if you didn’t have to read another management book to get the insights? What if you could learn with and from peers who are in a similar situation as yourself?

But before writing the first learning objective or script, I asked myself the question anyone working on AI projects should be asking: “What value do I create and where in the process do I create it?” (Read that again.) To me, the answer lies in the insights, guidance, and feedback I can provide to your specific questions. The content and foundation, based on the book, are the same for everyone. So what if the value was not in the scripted videos, but in live office hours sessions based on the videos?

What You Will Learn in This Course
Most teams are producing more with AI and trusting it less. Drafts pile up, ownership blurs, and "good" becomes whatever ships. The hard part is leading how people use AI tools and agents. In this cohort course, business and technology leaders apply a practical system for building AI-ready teams that move fast without sacrificing quality or accountability.
Across three working sessions, you will set clear standards for when and how to use AI, decide what to delegate to agents and what stays with people, build accountability into everyday work, and run the change so adoption sticks. You will leave with a team operating model you can put to work the next morning.

How I Built This Course with AI Tools and Agents
AI has improved so much as a general-purpose technology in recent years that it is not always easy to comprehend the progress or even realize it in the moment. AI avatars have existed for a while now, and so have voice clones. Recently, AI-enabled editing tools (e.g., Hyperframes) have been receiving a lot of attention as well. So, I started with a simple question: Could I deliver a complete, polished online course using my likeness, voice, didactic style, and familiar branding by combining these individual building blocks?
Prerequisites:
Voice and tone based on previous work in Claude Cowork
Design system incl. colors and fonts in Claude Design
Voice clone in ElevenLabs
Avatar of your likeness in HeyGen
Production workflow and course build:
Draft the table of contents and learning objectives per video in Claude Cowork based on the book manuscript
Draft the script and storyboard for each video in Claude Cowork based on the table of contents
Generate the talking-head video for each video in the course in HeyGen, combining the script, avatar, and voice clone
Add AI-generated animations to each video using the design system with Hyperframes in Claude Code
Create the course on Maven.com based on the learning objectives and target audience using Claude in Chrome plugin
I reviewed and adjusted the output of each step before continuing with the next. Individual flaws, such as the avatar looking down instead of keeping eye contact or tell-tale AI phrasing, compound quickly. Skipping a review increases the risk of creating exactly the kind of low-quality AI-generated output learners will be prepared to prevent, diminishing the learning experience.

This maps to something I've seen across teams adopting agentic workflows: the fear isn't really job loss, it's loss of judgment. People conflate "AI did the work" with "AI made the decisions," when the actual shift is that humans move from doing to gatekeeping. Curious how many approval checkpoints you built in versus how many you originally planned. That ratio tends to reveal how much trust people actually have in the system.
