Unlock Real Business Impact With Top AI Leadership Insights
The Backstory Of The "AI Leadership Handbook"
It all started with a prop. A colleague shared some advice: “You need to have something recognizable and unique, something that people associate with your videos.” That was when I started creating short explainer videos about AI on YouTube, using the buzzer as a prop.
Since then, creating short videos has turned into hosting live streams and podcasts with AI leaders and hands-on experts. But the idea has always been the same: How can I help current and aspiring AI leaders successfully lead AI initiatives?
That is also the motivation for my upcoming book, the AI Leadership Handbook, which will launch on September 10!
The Three Problems AI Leaders Are Facing
Over the last eight years, working on AI from different vantage points, I have not only seen the struggles that AI leaders face every day, but I have also experienced them myself while working with dozens of Fortune 500 companies:
There is hype and all the sky-high expectations and (yet) unproven promises that come with it.
There are proofs of concept turning into throw-away projects or money pits.
There is also a huge focus on using the latest and greatest technology at the expense of change management and involving people in the AI journey.
But what if people like you and me shared their learnings? What could the rest of the community learn? And how would it help you evolve and improve how you run your AI initiatives?
While this applies to Machine Learning, I noticed the same patterns and challenges as Generative AI was emerging as well: Most businesses and technology leaders are struggling with introducing AI into their organizations.
More than 60 AI leaders, practitioners, and experts in their field have been sharing their insights on the “What’s the BUZZ?” live stream and podcast with an audience in 70+ countries. How could an even broader audience of current and aspiring AI leaders benefit from these insights?—The idea for the AI Leadership Handbook was born.
Level Up Your Leadership Game With the AI Leadership Handbook
The pressure on leaders to incorporate AI into their business has never been higher. Despite their best efforts, 85% of AI projects fail. But that is rarely just because of technology.
Between unrealistic expectations of what AI can do, isolated science projects turned into money pits, and employees looking for clarity on how AI influences their jobs, learning how to introduce AI into your organization successfully can be difficult. Getting it right on the second or third attempt is not an option.
For your AI program to be successful, you need to be aware of all the facets involved, not just the technology—a daunting task. The AI Leadership Handbook prepares you to master the nine most important facets with ease.
In the AI Leadership Handbook, you will discover how to:
Leverage the full scope of an AI leadership role
Win (enthusiastic) buy-in from employees
Take a product-centric approach to building AI applications
Build a pipeline of high-value AI capabilities
Utilize AI ethically, safely, and sustainably
Spanning strategy, stakeholder management, collaboration, culture, ethics, data privacy, risk management, and technology, you will learn everything you need to know to become a confident and successful AI leader—and get it right on the first try.
